Shipping & Return Policy
At Jennifer VonStein Artworks, every order, commission, and sale is handled with care and transparency. Our goal is for you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you have any questions, please email us at jennifervonsteinart@gmail.com.
Returns & Exchanges
Please open and inspect your prints immediately upon receiving them. We accept print returns and exchanges within 7 days of receipt. If you do not reach out within this timeframe, we will be unable to process a return or exchange. Please note that this timeline may be flexible during the winter holiday season.
If you wish to return a reproduction print, a restocking fee amounting to 20% of the print cost will be applied. We are happy to exchange a print for you; however, the restocking fee for the original print will still be applied, as we print to order and strive to minimize excess inventory.
Original artwork and sale items are final sale. We are unable to accept items purchased on sale for return or exchange. This will be clearly indicated in the listing.
Commissions
All sales of commissions are final, and there are no refunds or exchanges on custom commissions. We will do my best to ensure the work you commission is to your expectations, including many chances to make changes during the development of the piece.
Retroactive Sale Discounts
If you purchased a print and it goes on sale within 7 days of your purchase, we are happy to issue you a retroactive discount. Please contact us at jennifervonsteinart@gmail.com to request this adjustment.
Replacement Artwork & Refunds
We will ship your replacement artwork and/or issue a refund only after receiving your returned item and communication via email.
Packaging for Returns
We ask that you return your print in the original packaging. If your print came in a tube, it must be returned with both end caps. If you no longer have the original packaging, please purchase a sturdy mailer or tube from your local post office, along with appropriate postage.
We will not provide a refund for artwork that is damaged in transit back to the studio due to poor packaging. We are unable to restock and sell damaged prints, so please ensure your print is packaged with care.
Damaged, Lost, or Stolen Artwork
We are not liable for any mishandling or failed delivery by the shipping service (e.g., USPS or UPS), and we are not liable for any damage incurred post-delivery. We package each order with care in sturdy mailers and tubes to ensure it arrives undamaged.
Damaged Print: If your print is damaged in transit, we are happy to handle this on a case-by-case basis. Please provide details and documentation of the damage. Collectors may be asked to file a claim with the shipping service. If the order is a complete loss and we offer a reprint, we ask that you return the print to our studio in the original or similarly sturdy packaging. Collectors are responsible for shipping costs for replacement prints.
Not Delivered / Lost / Stolen: If your package is marked “Delivered” but is nowhere to be found, please first check your confirmation email to ensure the shipping address was correct. We are unable to replace any print order for free if the shipping address is incorrect. If the address is correct and you believe your package was lost or stolen, you must contact the shipping service directly. If a package is returned to our studio, we are happy to reship it, but ask that you pay for the additional postage. We are unable to reprint any order for free that has been not delivered, lost, or stolen.
Color Variations
Please take the time to read descriptions carefully and check the colors on multiple screens if you are concerned about color variations. We strive to represent the colors and tones in our work honestly and clearly. We are happy to exchange your print for another that will work better in your space. Please see above for our exchange policy.
Virtual Showing
We are happy to provide a mockup of original paintings in your space prior to purchase! Please email a photo of the space straight-on, along with the measurements of the wall, to jennifervonsteinart@gmail.com.
